- Onlinux
# dd if=/dev/hdc1 bs=512 count=1 of=bootsect.lnx

- On Windows
Add C:\bootsect.lnx="Linux" to BOOT.ini

HD Low Level Format

U can do a low level format. This will fix your bad sectors.

But remember to back up all your data. Because low leve format will erase all your data.
